Between 1988 and 1991 I worked as a stagehand and carpenter at the Opera House in Manheim, Germany, leaving to become the assistant technical director for William Forsythe’s Frankfurt Ballet. Promoted to technical director, I toured the world during the 1990’s. Though moved permanently to New York, I’ve been regularly recruited to theatre work in Germany over the past ten years working during many summers as Technical Director and Production Manager for Peter Brook, Peter Sellars, Robert Wilson and others.
